WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS in 2020 (SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDED)

                               SCHOLARSHIP

Most people/students do not know that it is possible for them to study at any University of their choice without paying a dime .
A scholarship is a financial award for students to foster and further their education. A Scholarship is actually awarded based on some criteria, these criteria actually reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. A Scholarship could be either :
A full Scholarship or,
A part Scholarship.

TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIPS

The most common scholarships may be classified as follows :

Academic Scholarships - This particular scholarship is normally based on the academic prowess of the student , it uses a minimum Grade Point Average or a standardized test score such as the ACT or SAT to determine candidates that are qualified.
Non-Academic Scholarships - This scholarship is normally awarded based on the athletic performance of a student .
Merit Scholarships - This scholarship can be based on a number of criteria , including performance in a particular school subject or club participation, community service, artistic capabilities e.t.c. These kind of scholarships are usually awarded by either private organizations or by the school the student is intending to go to.
Student-specific Scholarships - This are scholarships that are given out based on the gender, race, religion, family or medical history of the student . An example of this category is a scholarship that is only qualify-able by students in Africa.
Career-specific scholarships - These scholarships are awarded to students that decide to pursue a particular field of study. Many schools in the U.S give future nurses full scholarships to enter the nursing field, especially if the student intends to work in a high-need community.
Brand Scholarships - These scholarships are given out by brands that are trying to gain attention to their brand or a particular cause . The Miss America beauty pageant is the most famous example of a brand scholarship.
Scholarship is an awesome way to help students in getting through their education especially higher education . They are awarded to relieve students (prospective , undergraduates and postgraduates) and their families a good part of the huge financial commitments of higher education.
Scholarships also offer you opportunities to travel and explore other countries and continents. International scholarships help you meet new people and cultures from across the globe in order for you to learn and gain exposure as well. For example, as an Asian or African student, you can get to visit and study in United States of America or Europe via a scholarship. This is an event that is capable of changing your worldview and life forever.

12 Artists To Keep Your Eyes (And Ears) On In 2018

New year ,New tunes  2017 was bursting with big releases from major artists, but even more breakouts are slated to have their moment in 2018. We picked 12 artists on the rise that we're most excited about going into the new year. Get all the details from the list below.   PRETTYMUCH Mark my words, 2018 is the year of PRETTYMUCH. Having only been formed by Simon Cowell in 2016, the band has become a literal force. Their harmonies are tight, their dance moves are sick, and they bring an incredible amount of design and creativity to their music videos. PRETTYMUCH released one bop after another in 2017 with “Would You Mind,” “Teacher,” “Open Arms,” and “No More” (featuring French Montana) — and if their singles this past year are any inclination of whats to come, PRETTYMUCH is going to have one long career.- Kristen Maldonado CAMILIA CABELLO Even before departing Fifth Harmony, taking big leaps on collaborations like “I Know What You Did Last Summer” wit...

Bad temper - A story which i didn't know what it meant until now

😂😂          So , while flipping through some old literature books, I found this story which I didn't know the meaning, for a writer to write something , maybe a book ,does it not mean that he/she is trying to pass a message to the reader?.... I have always been advised to read books , whether it relates to my course of study or not......It sounds lame to me, when I think I can do other fun things like watching dance videos on Instagram or watching some interesting series . Before I forget now....the story goes thus:   There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.  The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled...
